Network
A blockchain ecosystem with its own state and transaction rules. A network is part of an asset and transaction identity.
Native asset
An asset native to a network, often used for network transaction fees.
Token
An asset represented within a network using that ecosystem’s token system.
EVM
Ethereum Virtual Machine. Several networks use compatible execution environments while maintaining distinct chain identities.
Layer 2
A scaling system associated with a base blockchain. Its transaction and asset history should still be identified separately in a wallet.
Collectible
A digital object represented by a distinct token identifier, often presented within a collection.
