Getting started

6 questions
How is the desktop workspace organized?

Start with Overview, then use the sidebar to open Assets, Account, Collections or Activity. Overview contains the portfolio chart and allocation; Account contains balances, transfer drafts and session settings.

Explore the workspace
What happens when I select Explore now?

Explore opens a short loading popup. Select Please try again on the next screen to continue to Downloads and choose your installer. This is a website navigation flow; it does not connect to a wallet or check your account.

Go directly to Downloads
Are the portfolio balances connected to my wallet?

The website displays a fixed portfolio to explain its navigation and organization. It does not connect to your accounts, retrieve your balances or move funds. Your actual balances belong to the installed wallet and the networks it supports.

Website and application features
How do I change the chart period or pause animations?

Use 1W, 1M and 1Y above the portfolio chart to change the displayed period. Pause animation below the wallet stops its animation. The workflow illustration has its own pause control, and supported animations respect the reduced-motion setting on your device.

Can I use the website on a phone or tablet?

The website adapts to smaller screens with a mobile menu and responsive forms and cards. The downloadable packages listed here are desktop installers for Windows, macOS and Linux; they are not Android or iOS apps.

Downloads & installation

6 questions
Which desktop downloads are available?

HODL CRYPTO WALLET 3.4.1.1 is available as a Windows x64 .exe installer (40.6 MiB), a macOS ARM64 .dmg (30.9 MiB) and a Linux AMD64 executable (68.5 MiB). Choose the architecture that matches your computer.

Choose your platform
How do I install the Windows version?

Choose Windows on Downloads and save the .exe file. Open the downloaded installer and follow its instructions. This package is for x64 Intel or AMD computers. Keep the filename and application version available if you need installation help.

Windows download
Which Mac is the macOS package for?

The macOS package is an ARM64 build for Apple Silicon. Open the downloaded .dmg disk image and follow the installer instructions. An Intel Mac package is not included in this release.

macOS download
How do I use the Linux download?

The Linux file is an AMD64 / x86-64 executable without a filename extension. Allow it to run as a program in your file manager, then open it. It is not a .deb or .rpm package, and this release does not include a Linux ARM build.

Linux download
How can I verify the downloaded file?

Open Installation & file details for your platform on Downloads. Compare the exact filename, file size and SHA-256 value with the downloaded file using a checksum tool. A matching hash confirms it matches the published file; it is separate from publisher signing or notarization.

View file details and checksums
What if a download stops or the installer will not open?

Retry from Downloads and check that you selected the correct architecture. The file service supports resumed downloads when your browser or download manager supports them. If installation still fails, prepare a diagnostic summary with your platform, OS version, package version and the visible error.

Assets & networks

6 questions
Does the directory mean every network is supported by the app?

The directory describes nine ecosystems: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon PoS, Arbitrum One, Base, Avalanche C-Chain and Tron. A directory entry does not confirm signing or transfer support in an installer. Check application compatibility for the specific network and operation.

Read compatibility information
What asset categories can I explore?

Assets separates Coins from Stablecoins, while Collections presents digital collectibles. The guides cover tokens, swaps and Web3 connections. These categories help organize information; they do not make different assets or issuers interchangeable.

Explore asset categories
How do I combine network and category filters?

Open Assets in the wallet sidebar, choose a category and select a network. Both filters apply together. If there are no matching holdings, an empty-state message appears. Select All assets and All networks to restore the whole portfolio.

Open the portfolio
Why does an asset need a network as well as a symbol?

A token symbol can appear on several networks or be used by unrelated tokens. Identify the blockchain and, where relevant, the token contract and standard. The sender and recipient must agree on the network before a transfer.

Understand address and network context
What does Save transfer draft do?

Account → Transfer checks the entered address format and amount against the selected example balance. Review the details and choose Save transfer draft to add a record to History for this page session. This does not sign or broadcast a transaction, and reloading clears the drafts.

Read the transfer guide
Can I swap assets or estimate all network fees here?

Swap opens an explanatory guide. The fee calculator on Send & Receive calculates an example Bitcoin fee from sat/vB and virtual size; it is not a live quote or a calculator for all chains. Executable swaps and network fee estimates require the corresponding application integration.

Security & recovery

6 questions
Should I enter my recovery phrase or private key on this website?

No. The website and contact forms do not need your recovery phrase, private key, wallet password or PIN. Keep recovery material private and follow the documentation for the wallet software you use.

Read wallet security guidance
How do I recover a wallet on another device?

Use the recovery instructions for the wallet that created your accounts, and check the supported recovery format and networks. This website cannot restore accounts. Do not put recovery material into a support message or diagnostic summary.

Read the recovery guide
Can support reset my private keys or reverse a transfer?

Support cannot recreate lost self-custody keys or reverse a confirmed blockchain transfer. Available recovery options depend on your wallet and existing backups. Keep a public transaction identifier and network name for a transaction question.

Read account recovery guidance
What should I review before authorizing a transaction?

Check the network, complete recipient address, asset, amount, fees and requested permissions in the wallet application. Connecting an application and granting a token spending permission are different actions.

Review security and permissions
Does changing the account name change my wallet address?

No. Settings changes the display name used in the website account workspace for the current session. It does not modify the example address, blockchain account, access permissions or private keys. Reloading restores the original name.

Explore account settings
What information is useful when asking for technical help?

Include the operating system, application version, network, public transaction identifier if relevant, and the exact error or steps you followed. Share only what is necessary to describe the issue and leave wallet secrets out of the message.

Privacy & support

6 questions
Is the email field in the diagnostic form required?

The email field is optional. If supplied, it is included in the summary you can copy or download. The diagnostic form prepares text on your device; it does not automatically email the summary or open a support ticket.

Open the diagnostic form
How do I save or share my diagnostic summary?

Complete the required fields and select Prepare summary. Review the result, then choose Download .txt or Copy summary. Editing the form clears the previous result so the next summary uses the updated details. You decide where to share the file or text.

Prepare a summary
What does the website remember on my device?

The site stores your privacy choice locally. Portfolio filters, account names, transfer drafts and prepared form messages are held in the current page session rather than saved as an account. The website has no analytics or advertising integration in its current implementation.

Read the privacy information
How can I change my privacy preferences?

Select Cookie settings in the footer. Choose Only necessary or adjust Functional preferences and select Save my preferences. Optional preferences remember your selected download platform and communication language for up to 180 days. The choice applies to this browser on this device; it is not a wallet security or backup setting.

Where can I find an SDK, API keys or integration credentials?

This website does not issue API keys or publish an SDK integration endpoint. Use the developer form to describe your intended integration. Do not treat the portfolio interface or network directory as an API compatibility guarantee.

Read developer information
Where are version details and application compatibility documented?

Release information lists the 3.4.1.1 installer packages. The compatibility guide distinguishes operating-system builds, the ecosystem directory and application integrations. Network-specific sending, signing and recovery capabilities require their own application release evidence.
